Instead of big name celebs, what if your favorite animated films starred REAL voice actors. Let me know if you have any ideas for future films. We begin with the film that arguably started this trend, the greatest fairy tale never told. A few things to note: I’m not going to assign a voice to every character, especially very minor ones that only have like one line of dialogue. If it’s a kid actually voiced by a kid I probably won’t recast them either, I just think real kids add an indelible layer to those characters, meaning I might just have to completely gloss over stuff like Luca. If a character has a voice actor for other media, I’m probably still going to recast them unless I can’t find a better substitute. As enticing as it can seem I also want to try and limit how many characters an actor plays in each casting, I mean it was one thing for Mel Blanc to voice all the Looney Tunes but a little variety can go a long way.
